The Peter Maurin Center
We’re Making a Real Difference
Every day, the Peter Maurin Center serves as a lifeline for hundreds of individuals and families in our community:
0
paid employees, a 100% volunteer run community service
1,600
hot meals served monthly
180,000
pounds of groceries distributed in 2024
60-80
dedicated volunteers working weekly
40
families receiving food deliveries every other week
25-30
tent sites visited twice weekly for 17 consecutive years
70
individuals per night sheltered during extreme cold (44 total nights)

“If The Lord had not made The Peter Maurin Center instrumental in my homelessness, I would not have the fullness of life that I now have. I was not losing faith in Our Lord, but I was losing faith in life and humanity. That is, until The Lord used The Peter Maurin Center to rescue me from my circumstances and my own thoughts.”
